What if art was exchanged not with money, but with care?
Marking Matters?: Marking Punggol is a community and art project initiated by renowned Thai artist Mit Jai Inn, where artworks become a way to inspire everyday people to make positive change in the world around them.
Mit has created 99 unique sculptures in his iconic colourways, and wants you to have a chance to own one of them.

How does that work?
Instead of paying money, you can bring home an artwork by giving your time to a charitable cause in Punggol. Together, you and 98 fellow volunteers will collectively contribute 10,000 hours to uplifting the Punggol neighbourhood across a year.
All you have to do is:
1. Choose a Punggol-based social cause
Option 1: Volunteering with one of our Punggol partner organisations:
Option 2: Find/create your own social cause in Punggol like organising a beach clean-up, befriending seniors, championing food security, and feeding community cats.
2. Pledge your hours
According to your artwork size, and level of commitment
- Small: 80-hour commitment
- Medium: 100-hour commitment
Please note that each entry is entitled to only one artwork.
3. Take home your sculpture after a year
